Over the past fifteen years, Kate Bowling has successfully handled high level felony defense, appeals, and civil disputes at both the State and Federal Level. She has recently joined Braum Rudd as Of Counsel. Kate has a wealth of experience trying high profile cases to juries throughout Ohio. She is a regular seminar presenter for the Ohio Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, training established attorneys in matters including trial strategy; constitutional issues; and Ohio’s ever-changing self-defense laws.

Kate’s extensive courtroom experience allows her to better serve her clients in all phases of litigation from case analysis to trial preparation and verdict. In addition to her law practice, Kate is a former professor of Business Legal Studies and Business Ethics at Miami University of Ohio and is currently an adjunct faculty professor of Criminal Procedure at the University of Dayton School of Law. She is also an acting Judge for Kettering/Centerville’s Municipal Court, handling civil and criminal dockets.

Kate lives in Centerville with her family. Time outside of work is spent enjoying the outdoors, traveling, or supporting her two sons from the sidelines of their weekly sporting events.
